Proficient in all mastering formats while spanning many genres, John has recently mastered multiple UK Top 10 albums for David Bowie, including his latest, Toy and Duran Duran’s 15th Studio Album, Future Past.
AIR Studios Mastering [founded by Beatles producer George Martin] specialise in all formats of analogue and digital mastering, providing high-end audio services to the world’s music industry. In 2019 Air Studios acquired Alchemy Mastering and now boast one of the UK's largest mastering facilities.
John’s portfolio to date includes artists like Clean Bandit, Ashley Singh, Band Of Skulls, L7, Josh Klinghoffer, Primal Scream, Matilda Mann, L7, MF DOOM, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Echo & the Bunnymen, Coach Party, Hozier and George Michael, including work on his final studio album Symphonica. In 2019, he worked with Anna Meredith on her Mercury Music Prize-nominated album, Fibs.
John’s recent Film and TV score releases include Marvel’s Loki – Natalie Holt, Emma – Isobel Waller-Bridge, David Schweitzer, Alien: Covenant – Jed Kurzel, His Dark Materials – Lorne Balfe and many projects with Clint Mansell, including She Will which earnt John a 2023 MPG Award nomination.
