My name is Kent Verderico, I have a BS in Music Recording from the University of Southern California. I have over 15 years experience in the recording business, from analog 2" multi-track to the latest Pro tools system. As a former staff 1st engineer for 14 years, I have recorded, mixed and mastered thousands of songs in practically every genre.
In 2000, began to study audio engineering. My father and his connections taught me analog; digitally, I've taught myself anything else through articles and documents published through EMI/Abbey Road, Berkeley, Alan Parsons, BBC and more. In 2013, completed Alan Parsons' Level 3 Masterclass at the Studio @ the Palms, Las Vegas, NV.
Experienced in all essential aspects of working with sound, including acoustics, tracking, editing, MIDI sequencing, configuring signal flow, microphone choice and placement, dynamic signal processing, equalization, and mixing among many other areas, I am eager to bring my experience, knowledge, and professionalism to a creative team.
Skilled producer/songwriter working in ANY genre, collaborating with qualified mixing-mastering-sound engineers, session musicians and music companies.
